I think that Sephiroth was a bit of an ass, but mostly cause he was good I mean epic majestic good. So he was a little full of himself. I mean, I can't fault him too much for being a cocky person. I firmly believe however, that he wasn't evil. That he got sick and Jenova was controlling him. That's one of the scenes I always point to when I say that too. :D I'm glad someone else notices
