gdi blizz
why did you have to give me another race of nifty, gender-ambiguous, ancient, snarky, cantankerous arthropod people to squee about.
(though, your writer should've totally had them call the PC 'biped'... XD)
Now I wanna write Anub'arak and some of the Klaxxi having a big philosophical debate. :B

Usually I avoid the insect people (massive Spheksophobia here) but the Klaxxi are too fun. You're spot on about the snark. (Is it the Dissector and the Manipulator who are like arthropod Asric and Jadaar?)
(And seriously, Klaxxi'va Set sounds just like Sméagol to me, while one of the other ones sounds like the Talosians from "The Menagerie," so they kinda put me a little more at ease. At least Blizz laid off the Buzzy Silithus sound.)

And they use the apostrophe to denote a sound! That's really neat. They were doing so much homework this round. I haven't forgiven them get for some of the Cata transgressions (Sylvanas, Jaina, Tyrande--Metzen, for your grievous sins against these fantastic ladies, I will bite you, and then I will BITE YOU MORE), but I'm happier with the lesser amount of fail, and the expansion feeling full and rounded.
XD; man now I'm back on nerding language again (it doesn't take much to get me doing that--or nerding about food for that matter omg the Pandarian cooking) and pffff god we know next to no Nerubian, We have one phrase ("Shabtir bakh sokhen") and then inconsistent random noises that I assume are phonetic. XD;
My speculation is that the -ramas denotes a necropolis (well, it does now) since so damn many have that suffix (Zeramas, Kolramas, Talramas, and so on) and that Naxxramas might actually mean 'Dread Citadel' as it was called in the game. (And that's probably a veiled Nerubian snark renaming of the building.)
That leaves some of the odd names out--Malykriss, Voltarus, Acherus, Naxxanar. I'm not sure what to make of those. Malykriss may will translate to Vile Hold in Nerubian. I dunno about the rest.
I liek the bugpoeple lol XD;; Well the qiraji can bite me but I like the Nerubians and klaxxi a ton.

I am seriously considering creating a roleplay account for Kil'ruk though because he's a sweetie.

Man, some of the PCs must make the Klaxxi WTF. "Wait, what, you're bipeds but you're not fuzzy, except this one of you is and has hooves, and you have tentacles...I'm going back to bed, this is too ridiculous."
And I like Kil'ruk. "Oh hey, need a little help there? *MAULS THE YUTZ* K see ya."
And Malik is HILARIOUS. "Be like water. Then shank the jerk."

Man now I really wanna write them and the Nerubians talking.
"Why worship those things with the fronds though?"
"Uh, Old Gods, hello."
"They're killable."
"And then the Sha happen."
"Which are also killable."
'Eh, different strokes."
"Indeed."

TBH I like to think that the Dread Wastes storyline is like what the Azjol-Nerub zone storyline would have been like if it had made it past the drawing board. Subsitute the Empress and the Sha for the Lich King and the Scourge and the Klaxxi/paragons for the still-living nerubians.

"What you think the bipeds have a chance?"
Oh man. i really, really wish the Nerubian story HAD actually happened. i mean, I know a lot gets cut for time (LIKE HALF OF CATACLYSM'S CONTENT whoops did I say that out loud) but I heart the Nerubians and I really wish we'd seen more of them.
if the undead ones had joined the Forsaken post-Wrath I'd have been so happy.
