WoW Meta-silly: Look, mom, OCs!
Jan. 6th, 2013 03:09 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
A lot of my crew are linked to my girlfriend's because she's the one who got me into WoW in the first place and her people are fukken awesome XD
First goes the Red Team--
DAWNTREADER, Aerionn: Male. Blood Elf, Paladin (he's a healy/shockadin in my head). Redhead. Likes to bake. Came perilously close to degeneration into a Wretched state after the Zerging of Silvermoon; fortunately his friend Risane was there to smack sense into him and tell him to leave the fuckin' thistle alone. Apprenticed to Rauthien Brightblade for the duration of his training and got a huge crush on senpai. Took his vows during the M'uru Slurpee Era and spent a lot of time reluctantly conversing with the compassionately pragmatic Naaru because--well--Aer could hear M'uru so why not. Terrified of Strat because of That One Part of initiation. Oft seen hanging around the Argent crew these days when he's not with Rauth.
DUSKWOLF, Rakkarah: Female. Orc, Shaman. She's Mag'hari (though not judgemental of her Azerothian green cousins) and sees nothing wrong with punting Garrosh (who is less stupid in the AU) when he's dense. Friend of Darshani, a Draenei shaman with amazing talent, endless patience, a heart of gold and adorable pigtails. Darshani is the reason Rakka didn't up and throw 'Warchief Hellscream' into the Maelstrom, or at Deathwing.
EVENBROOKE, Ishandarr: Male. Blood Elf, Rogue. 'Ebonrooke' when loyal to Arthas. Rather amusingly domestic. Former Farstrider, survived the zerging of Silvermoon but wasn't well enough to go to Outland. Participated in a great many Ghostlands rescue missions until one day his luck stat imploded and Darthaan and a bunch of Nerubians owned him. Had his brain broken and repaired and his body alchemically augmented at Deatholme, acted as a double agent for some time when he was let out, and was eventually assigned to Stratholme and then Acherus as a courier and spy. Stopped kicking himself for this as a result of many hugs from one Leilandra Kirendil. Leilandra didn't care much that he was semi-undead, refused to let him kasplat himself heroically, gave him tea and blankets, and pulled him out of his shell. This is one of many reasons why he loves her to bits. Strategist to his dear friend Teraeis Fairdawn's regiment of Sin'dorei Death Knights. Being a sneakypants, he's a good strategist.
FIREFLIGHT, Kleidion: Male. Blood Elf, Warlock. His demons aren't set on corrupting him as much as making sure he actually eats lunch. Kris's twin, double-agented for the Scourge in the vain hope that Arthas would spill where Kris was.
FIREFLIGHT, Kristios: Male. Blood Elf, Death Knight. 'Fireblight' when loyal to Arthas. Kris is Unholy-strong and he does name his ghouls things like Casketbasher. Dion's twin, got pwned by the Scourge during the Zerging of Silvermoon and rez'd later. Teraeis Fairdawn is the main reason why Kris never got ate by Maexxna or Hadronoxx or something. Brilliant though Kris is, he has all the common sense of a turnip.
FLEEZLEBOP, Berenykkie Benedetta: Female. Goblin, Warlock. Knows a gal who knows a guy who may have sunk Gallywix in his pool. Her hunger for glory and power extends only to the world of fashion! Has a giant heartmark for one Trixybelle.
GHOSTWALKER, Dakkarayi: Male. Troll, Priest. Kikki's kid brother. Very zen, very calm, very easygoing. Dakka, much like the Dude, abides. He's a talented healer and alchemist thanks to the blessing of Elortha no Shadra (whose repertoire includes poisons and medicines, family, home, and protection of the young).
GHOSTWALKER, Kikkijikki: Female. Troll, Druid (she's a Zufli (witch doctor) in my head). Snarky no-nonsense hippie auntie troll. Spent most of her Northrend sojourn in Zul'Drak aiding the Zandalari. Has no time for Garrosh's hissy fits. Like, zero.
HELIANTHE, Sarradhaine: Female. Blood Elf, Mage. Older twin. Named her water elemental Slushie. She and Vala are relative softies from a usually-stoic-and-pragmatic Noble House. Their older brother was kind of a traitorous asshole scrub who threw in his lot with the Scourge, and she's trying her damnedest to live that down. Reliquary scribe. Greatly admires Magistrix Leilandra Kirendil. Cannot STAND most Worgen--in her humble opinion it's partly Gilneas's fault her brother went scrubby.
HELIANTHE, Valerriana: Female. Blood Elf, Paladin. Younger twin. Postdates the Slurpee M'uru Era. Not offended by the expectations that she ought to atone for it anyway--her brother was a scrub, so. She became a paladin to help people and That Is What She Will Do. Is developing a big ol' crush on Rauthien Brightblade--which isn't uncommon because he's as kind as he is hot. She does not, however, have much love for the human members of the Kirin Tor (she believes they sold her people out), but the gnomes and elves are okay.
MORNGLADE, Kazyanagi: Male. Blood Elf, Death Knight. "Mourneblade" as an Acherus commander. Was a paladin, was struck down during the zerging of Silvermoon, and spent several years on ice before being resurrected as one of the Knights of Acherus. Quite protective of Ishan (whoom he knew in life thanks to their grandpas being buddies) and Teraeis, something of an Oyaji, and a scarily-skilled frost tank.
SEDGEBLOSSOM, Shuuyoh: Female. Pandaren, Shaman. She's kind of an enormous nerd. Fantastic scribe, historian, Lorewalker, collector of literature, writer of very long romantic epics. She's generally even-tempered; about the only things that piss her off are (a) people lying about history and (b) Mogu. Seriously, don't be a Mogu around Shooyoh. She'll hit you with a totem.
SHADEWIND, Chiyana: Female. Orc, Hunter. Owns a big dorky wolf name Haruk. Followed Saurfang and Co. during the WAAAAGH and got stuck on Azeroth and decided to make the best of it. Mom of two, and auntie to every kid in Orgrimmar to boot. Run Garrosh run. Met the members of the Rising Dawn during the expedition to Outland; she was Leilandra's big sis/auntie when Andra was at Garadar, and introduced the magistrix to spicy clefthoof steaks and chased her around to make sure she remembered lunch. Andra in turn really helped Chi stop despising her younger self for WAAAAGH-ing. Andra is awesome that way.
SUNVEIL, Mireillie: Female. Forsaken, Priest. Trained under Lady Aelthalyste, found herself on the wrong end of Falric's blade when Arthas and Co. came home from Northrend. A large part of her stubborn optimism stems from her desire to keep her friends from succumbing to despair. She's ferociously protective of Leilandra and Leilatha Kirendil, with whom she was close when they were younger.
And the Blue Team--
ANDRESSON, Fiannella: Female. Worgen, Warrior. Lone caretaker of her ridiculous bother of a brother after her mum's death, she was among the first to be bitten and cursed. Has no real nationalistic pride--indeed, she thinks Genn's undermining of the Alliance via abandoning it is partially responsible for what befell the outside world. But there's not much to do but persist, so she does. Has no hatred for the Forsaken though Sylvanas scares her tits off ('Weeping Women' aka Gilnean banshees/dullahans are a well known folktale thing).
GYRELEAF, Bejaria (now called Moonfell): Female. Night Elf, Rogue (she is a Shadow Warden in my head). Devout follower of Elune in Her Dark aspect, she survived the sundering as a pre-teen and cared for her little sister until they were both rescued by their dad. Holds the distinction of having gotten kicked out of the first warden order because she shared the remainder of her lunch with Illidan (she cannot abide wasted food). The fact that she can't cook didn't make Maiev any less annoyed. With the pardoning of Illidan, she's been reinstated into the Wardens as of all this Deathwing business.
GYRELEAF, Iynadora: Female. Night Elf, Druid. Bejaria's younger sibling. Shares Bej's ragghhh about wasted food, and dislikes being alone. For being a younger druid, she's extremely adept. And she doesn't trust Staghelm as far as she can kick Gahz'rillah, but does feel bad for him. Possessed of any number of goofy nicknames for the various Druid orders: "Druids of the OOH SHINY, Druids of the I'M HIBERNATING SHUSH, Druids of the HEY A SUNNY SPOT, Druids of the HA HA IT'S SPRING AND I'M POLLENATING TAKE THAT..."
MacTEAGUE, Eveynna: Female. Human, Paladin (Evey tanks). Daughter of a retired pally (mom) and a priest (dad). The family started off in Stormwind, then moved to Lordaeron when Mara lead the refugees there, and finally followed Jaina to Theramore. Evey has a fantastic Stormwinder/Theran accent as a result. Holds to Jaina, Tirion and Terenas's ideals of what the Alliance ought to be like. Also hearts Jaina dearly.
MASONS, Garrett: Male. Human, Paladin (Gerrard is a healydin). Possessed of a nasty case of survivors' guilt as he was one of the last Lordaeron soldiers to return from Northrend before Arthas lost it. Seeks to make up for things somehow by being the best damn battle medic ever. Childhood friend of Evey's.
RHYDDERCH, Sharl Meredydd: Male. Human, Mage. Went and named his water Elemental Thomas the Rimer, much to his dad's amusement and his mom's massaging her temples. Son of two very epic mages, Dalaran born and raised. Was ready to start punching people when they tried to take the pissfight into his backyard during the Northrend campaign.
THUNDERMAR, Solseannan: Female. Dwarf, Paladin (Sola tanks). Sola is what happens when a Wildhammer and a Bronzebeard clan member hook up--a very short immovable object with blue tattoos, an Argent Crusade tabard, and an endless repertoire of drinking songs. Friends with Evey and Gerrard. Northrend made her want to kick everybody, but mostly kick Arthas.
VASU, Majjari: Female. Draenei, Paladin. (Retadin!) Majjari is cheerful, gregarious, earnest, and clever. She has adopted the outlook of her senior, Sorceress Zalandra, with regard to the orcs--that is, she fully believes in putting the blame where it belongs, bonking the orcs with a cluebat so they never WAAAGH again, telling them you forgive them for WAAAGHing...and then beating the everlasting CRAP out of Kil'Jaeden. Staunch follower of Velen and ally of the Argent Crusade. Cares not a fig for the whinging of people who think she's 'too neutral'. They shall be denied a second helping of tea. So there.
VASU, Vanastha: Female. Draenei, Shaman. Majjari's partner. Calmer and more femme and refined than her noisy girlfriend. Has deep respect for Nobundo and Velen, and was overjoyed once she heard of Thrall and Drekthar, and works happily with the Earthen Ring.
VOIDSINGER, Ferayyah: Female. Night Elf, monk(she is a demon hunter in my head). Was at one point a noble courtesan in the very respected Highborne guilds before the Sundering, but as Azshara (who was supposed to be the Hand of Elune to her people) descended unto madness and the court into depravity, Ferayyah was unable to cope. Ultimately she had a breakdown and fled the city (without pants), and after a time she turned to the path of the Demon Hunter. Azshara might be out of reach, but the Legion isn't.
