-If someone requests sanctuary in their home (be it physical or spiritual, e.g. dream space), they're pretty much honour-bound to grant it, but once that person makes the request they're honour-bound themselves to follow the rules of the house and both parties can't harm one another except in self-defense. Geasa are fun that way. This dates back before the division of the two peoples.

-They have a festival kinda like Hana-mi is; formally it's dedicated to Manah, but there's devotion to Aimar, Bhais and Firin woven in as well--the flowers becoming fruit, the transience of things, and the return of the warmth of the sun. (Kupop-wise, it celebrates the Divine Triad.)

-While they can't lie (they gave up their capacity to do that to Bhais (or Thanatos, depending) in exchange for long life, back before the fae/youma division), they can dance around the truth and are not forbidden from letting some boofadoof deceive him/herself. If you ask them three times for the answer to a thing, they're honour-bound to tell the truth...but they're not prevented from taking questions at face-value etc.

-They can't deceive themselves at all. This doesn't mean they're immune from egoplosions, but rather that they can't resist the moral or work themselves into self-delusional tizzies. They have a clarity of sight and grounded realism that other people might lack.

-The two above things combined means they can come off as astoundingly tactless to people used to more circumspect discourse. Even the Four Nobles (Titania, Auberon, Medb and Nuada) seem blunt as hell. However, this bluntness is inevitably tempered by compassion--all fae and all youma are empaths to some degree.

-They don't eat a heck of a lot of red meat or poultry, even those without a geis against this kind of thing (basic rule: don't nom your House's totem animal/bird, or its kindred). They do, however, eat fish (and a lot of it--neither group has a House whose totem is a sea critter), a lot of fruit and veggies, a lot of whole-grain things, herbs, various nifty sorts of cheese, a squillion rice dishes, and--perhaps oddly to people not used to such--flowers. So yeah, their diet doesn't want for variety!

-Tea is the big social thing, with something similar to a hookah or narghile running a close second--though these only tend to show up on special occasions like festivals, or at fancy gatherings. The herb blend in them depends on what festival we're talking. Tea is similar, with different blends being typical of different holidays or occasions. Everyday tea tends to be a nice floral black tea, and it's usually taken with milk, sugar, and a little cinnamon.

-If you're a guest in a fae or youma house you're going to get noms and tea. It's a Thing. You'll probably also be invited for dinner or something. Hospitality is important to them.

-A lot of them do have some kind of tattoos, having gotten them as a coming-of-age thing. Generally they're done bracelet-style around the bicep just below the shoulder, in green or violet or blue. Nifty piercings aren't uncommon either.

-Many of them don't like socks since their toe-claws can put holes in 'em easy.
