On the Ladies -
The Dark Lady is sort of equivalent to the Greek Nyx (so yes, Death is her kid) or Ratridevi in the Rig Veda. All the Kildean pantheon have been known to incarnate so they don't forget what it's like to walk the wheel and get reckless as a result. She's also the guardian of mysteries, hence the keylike look of the Rood Inverse. Oracle dreams aren't uncommon among her followers. Her most famous incarnation is the priestess Osana Müllenkamp.
The Lady of Light is sort of like Eos or Ushas. She's the sister (twin?) of the Dark Lady and governs prana as well as dawn (the sun is a source of prana according to Ayurvedic philosophy). She and the Dark Lady don't see eye to eye often, and at times they might squabble (well, they're siblings), but they love one another dearly and picking on one will get the other in one's face. Iocus was one of her followers and seers. Alas the Valendians got his message all messed up. Their snarliess at her sister makes the Lady of Light somewhat cranky with them.
The Lady of Chaos governs change; she's kind of the tarot Death and Tower cards personified. Note that she doesn't have anything to do with entropy; physical energy isn't her domain. Evolution, though, is - the Kildeans do believe in this, and believe that the ability to grow and to change is a divine gift that's best used. Her most famous incarnation is Eve/Melissa Pearce (who's not quite the same in Tenebrous as she is in Parasite Eve).
The Lady of Order is exactly what it says on her shirt. In the Tarot she's Temperance XD She also governs over law. I don't know as much about her but I do know that her last incarnation was Ifalna.
The Lady of the Void is Jenova. *dork* No seriously. Uh. Yeah. She's very strange by the standards of the world of material being. The Void she represents is like Kinoko Nasu's void or the Buddhist Mu/Wu - infinite potential space. You can't have form without emptiness to put it in. Unlike the others she doesn't really incarnate.
On Espers - The Kildean lore about them doesn't match the Valendian Ivalese for the most part. The most significant one in my head right now because Ansem's cranking) is Zalera. Kildeans hold that he is Death's messenger - sort of like a skeletal Mercury. The woman on his arm is his companion; if you see Kildean art of her, she isn't missing her lower body. Zalera has four wings, and the lower two aren't used for flying so she's sitting on the lower right one with her robe hanging down. It's likely the Valendians, not knowing how the hell to read the Kildean traditional art or working from an old fresco, assumed she had no legs and came up with the AHMAHGAHD story you see in FFXII. (They did that to a few Espers. Mateus is another one...) Either way - yes she has her legs, and she stays with him by choice. He kind of needs her around XD Her name incidentally is Korone. Since she was a Priestess of the Dark Lady she has the gift of the Voice and can call out to dead souls. Zalera himself really doesn't talk much (though he laughs often pfftt). If you get a message from him, Korone is relaying it. Amusingly, Kefka Palazzo (another guy with a distinctive laugh) was born under his sign, which is equivalent to Gemini.
...Yeah. The Valendians didn't like/understand a lot of Kildean lore and thus their historians pulled the same tomfoolery that a lot of old Brit explorers and historians did and misinterpreted the crap out of it, on purpose or not. So the Espers for the most part became fallen angel figures.
