yukieMy sole comfort, upon regarding the frantic keyboard-hammerings of closed-minded dinguses, is remembering that these are the death-rattles of a way of thinking and acting that is no longer acceptable to the extent it once was. Their world is ending and there's not a fucking thing they can do about it, so they capslock forever in the vain hope that they can postpone the inevitable.

Date: 2012-03-13 02:50 am (UTC)Seriously though sometimes I wonder where people's mind-to-mouth filter is, and coming from a woman who barely even had one for much of her life, that is SAD.
People certainly don't have to be super polite and paragons of tact all the time, but in the case of people who say raging-asshole things and then get all surprised when the smackdown is put--I don't even know.
It's not about freedom of speech either (which doesn't exactly exist everywhere on the internet and anyway the first amendment is about government censorship). It's about not being an asshole and respecting that other people are just as much PEOPLE as you.
