The hell, plumbing?
Feb. 25th, 2010 08:07 amOkay so where went the glorious hot water that I had for Monday and Tuesday? I know that the water temperature in an apartment's going to sort of fluctuate a bit based on how many people are showering or whatever, but if it keeps being sort of wussily warm and this isn't just a result of many people using hot water at once I'm going to politely ask the powers that be what the heck is going on.
My building is hardly new, I mean, I have radiator heat and all, so they could well be doing work on the boiler or something, or the boiler could be being a jerk.
But dudes, I am paying for my water as part of my rent. All of us are. Steamy and frigid water were included as part of the deal! Tepid water is gross to wash dishes in and gross to shower in. Pls to bring back my lovely hot water? I suspect you are working on it, but I shall make big eyes anyhow to inspire speediness.

(I don't know if I can install an on demand hot water heater. A couple people have suggested that but I don't know if I am allowed to do that, and I don't know what the prices on those are and thus whether it's a worthwhile invstment. What I've been doing when I wash the dishes and the hot water's weak is boil a kettle full of water and dump that into the sink; I'm not unresourceful. ;p As for the shower, I just speedshower when the warm water is wussy. *SIGH* Oh awesome hot water, pls come back. Yeah, I know, first world problems, cry moar, etc1. I miss my nice warm water dangit XD)

1Incidentally, if I am told to cry moar by someone whose salary is quite a bit higher than mine and who has much more disposable income and rents a much nicer place? I'm letting the floor lich eat them. Hypocrites? Go fuck off. People are no longer allowed to pedantically lecture me as if I were a child. ESPECIALLY not fucking wieners who bitched when they thought I was being pedantic (read: I am female and didn't back down and fawn and lower my eyes like a good girl or some fucking shit). I will slap the everlasting christ out of the ones that do. ;p I'm not obliged to let people be little whimpering abusive fuckshits to me because their little ego-weego-wooh-woohs are suffering and they need a pick me up. I'm not your stepladder. Fuck off. If you step on my neck, you imbeciles, I'll snap yours.
